Syncing, Tiering & Caching for Faster Access To Your Data
The cloud gateway functions are flexible and offer several ways to integrate your cloud storage for both file-level and block-level environments. You can speed up cloud access by designating the local storage as cache with copies of frequently used data stored locally to reduce access times. Both file and block data can be synced to the cloud to provide a complete backup solution including snapshots. Access Control Management allows files to be used by multiple users in collaboration from multiple locations. Block level tiering allows you to extend your storage with frequently used data stored locally and less-frequently used data migrated and stored in the cloud.

Protected By SSL & AES-256 Encryption
To protect against the possibility of data breaches, your cloud data is encrypted and protected with AES 256-bit encryption so that it cannot be viewed by unauthorized users. Data transfers to and from the cloud are secured using SSL/TLS connections. The cloud gateway is compatible with public clouds including Amazon S3 and Microsoft Azure as well as private clouds employing Openstack Swift.
