How to Mount the MSS280—Mac
To mount the MSS280 volume on a Mac computer, open the Connect to Server dialog (⌘ + k). Enter the IP address of the MSS280 network port your computer is connected to eg. smb://192.168.1.100 and click the CONNECT button. Ensure you use the IP address of the network port you are connected to and start with smb://
Click the CONNECT button again
Ensure Registered User is selected, enter the credentials (username/password) for the new user and click the CONNECT button
If prompted, select the MSS280 folder for the new user and click the OK button.
The Finder should show the network share for the IP address used (eg, 192.168.1.100)—the workspace “newbie” and the common workspace. The workspaces are now available for use.
