How to power on the MSS280
To power on the MSS280 plug the female end of the included power cord in to the socket on the rear of the MSS 280 and the male end in to a suitable AC power outlet.
Press the power button on the front of the MSS280 to start the appliance.
It typically takes 90 seconds to complete internal checks, mount the disk drives, and place the volume on-line for access.
When the MSS280 is ready for use it will announce “MSS280 is ready”.
How to shutdown the MSS280
To shutdown the MSS280 you can do so from the MANAGEMENT section of the main portal.
It is recommended you save any work before you commence shut down.
